Still Around

Still around, but haven't updated my blog lately. Relocated across the state to begin a new job and haven't had the time to tie knots for a while. Be back in full force shortly. :) Happy new year.

Chinese Cross Bracelet

Adapted Stormdrane's Chinese Cross knife lanyard into this bracelet for my wife. This one is a nice changeup from the fully braided paracord bracelets. Just used a simple knot/loop closure to hold this one on.

Lanyard with a Starlingear Skull

Here is a simple lanyard I made for a customer. The core is removed from the loop so that the lanyard can be fed through the lanyard hole on many folding knives. This one has a nice silver Starlingear skull between 2 lanyard/diamond knots.

More Survival Lanyards

Here's a few variations of the cobra stitch survival lanyards with a ferrocerium rod inside. Emerson skulls add a nice touch.

Cobra Stitch Lanyard w/ Emerson Skull and Ferrocerium Rod

Here is a cool lanyard with a survivalist undertone. Concealed within the cobra stitch is a ferrocerium (fire steel) rod that can be removed and used to start fires in an emergency situation. Topped off with an Emerson pewter skull, this setup makes for a stylish yet effective survival lanyard.
